VIDAA Smart TV

I would give it zero stars if that were an option. The app threatened me to update it, saying it would stop working otherwise. So I updated it—because it forced me to—and now it crashes immediately after opening. Isn’t that ridiculous? Updating just to have it crash? Now it doesn’t work at all, even after I uninstall it, clear the app data, and restart my phone. If I had known this would happen, I never would have updated this stupid app.

The TV remote functions are extremely basic. The main reason for 2 stars is this fails to keep connection with google home 99% of the time, had no issue with other devices and this one will work every now and again but in general I've given up with google home voice commands for the TV. A bit rubbish really.

Very useful app! The VIDAA app is a great option for controlling your TV when you don’t have the physical remote. It’s easy to connect and gives you access to the main remote functions directly from your phone. Simple, convenient, and definitely worth having as a backup remote. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
